Jovac
I started this model very long ago, so it's time to finish it. Every model is familiar, it's old, but I'm always cute old models. I did not want to correct any manufacturer errors, but I did it directly from the box. I did not even change the decals, which are green instead of white. I like it. Here's the picture, enjoy it.
Farmerboy
Well made and finished model, and the main thing is you enjoyed building it, good job!
stevehnz
Hi Jovac, that looks good to my eye. It is quite refreshing to see a model done from the box, warts & all, but done really nicely as you've done, so credit to you. 👍 Steve.

Neil.C
I built that one some time ago, didn't realise the lettering wasn't supposed to be green! I actually like these models straight from the box, warts and all. Takes me back I guess.

ivand
1 hour ago, junglierating said: BTW what is wrong with the kit....shape? For me, the most obvious problem is the canopy: too large and bulbous.
Wez
The radiators are too deep, more like a Griffon engined XIV, than a Merlin engined IX sub-type like a Mk. XVI. I'm not sure I agree about the canopy being too bulbous but we each have our own perception of these things.
cngaero
A great looking model of my favourite mark of Spitfire. You've done a splendid job out of the box. Well done.
