paul1234
Hello evertbody Already had some great advice regarding obtaining photo etched parts for a 1/700 scale model of Revell's container ship, just need a little more if anyone can help. Can anyone recommend a bending tool for photo etched parts of this scale, any particular make or size would be a great help as am new to all this. Thanks once again
Niall
Search for "Hold and Fold Tool" there are many different sizes and prices. I've got one similar to this and have used it on 1/700th - 1/72nd scale ship parts - https://www.scalemodelshop.co.uk/product/photo-etch-bending-tool-4-mk-iv-rth-hold-and-fold-the-small-shop-sms003
Silenoz
Pretty expensive these hold and folds (I have one my own), and hardly use it. For most bends a simple toothless plier is sufficient. I use a plier like this to remove the burrs from the PE, to bend the smaller (and longer bends), etc... a real multi-function:
