Finished in a mixture of Hataka, Xtracrylix and Vallejo paints with the kit decals 1. 2. 3. 4. Secondly a Dragon Fw190A-8/R-11 nightfighter. Not such a good kit. I agree - they're a nice pair of 190's - well painted with minimum weathering - In fairness, I think the photos don't do them justice. The main issue here is light - you need a ton of light to even begin to get decent photo's - I know because it's something I've really struggled with. My method is: I have an A2 white sheet of thick paper that I rest against something (I use a fruit bowl) so it bends upwards - place the model on that and then set up 3 desk lamps with paper towels taped across the bulb - the towels defuse the light and reduce shadows. Then when you're taking the picture, make sure you're framing it correctly and most importantly make sure you're in focus. Like modelling, it's something that will improve with practice:) You could take some more photos and post them here - I'd like to see these Wurger's in their full glory. I wouldn't lose heart if your models don't get alot of attention when you post - the internet is fickle and there seems to be alot of variables - ie the time when you post, what other models are posted around the same time etc... It doesn't mean you've made a bad model I would be happy with these 190's - I'm building a tamiya 190D-9 at the moment and am enjoying it immensely 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You're welcome 😄 I struggle with my photography. There have been many tips through the forums for improving images, and those of Kitchen Modeller are good straightforward ones.
