WW1 Indian Lewis gunners - Mesopotamia - 1/35

I'll try this again...finishing up this vignette I started for the WW1 GB last year. The gunner is from the Tamiya LRDG truck, spotter is one of the ICM Anzac figures, and the heads are from the Dragon Monte Casino allies kit. The base is pine bored and carved into an anti-aircraft trench, covered with gritty acrylic medium. The ICM figures and Dragon heads are really good for detail.

Got the base colours on the trench and the figures.

Finished! The post and gun mount are bits of styrene and the Lewis gun and ammo case are 1/35 Resicast bits. Very nice casting of course. Posted in RFI.

Just going to start some 35th figures myself and decided to look at this topic for the first time and I am impressed with the results you have achieved, hope I can do likewise . . .

Thanks, I look forward to seeing your work.

Nice result on a very novel scene. Figures look great,  good definition and natural poses.

If I may I would add a couple of washes to the ground work to bring out more of the texture detail and maybe add some clutter to the dio in the form of spent cartridges, water bottles, knap sacks . Just makes it look a little busier.

Good suggestions, I'll at least add the spotter's rifle and think about some other bits that make sense..
