Here's mine, Lockheed's S-3A Viking of VS-33 'World Famous Screwbirds', USS Kitty Hawk.

Build thread is here but to recap:

Kit: Hasegawa S-3A Viking (Number JS-142)

Build: OOB except for wire for the ejection seats

Paints: Halfords Primer from a rattlecan, Revell Acrylics with a brush, Future, Flory Models wash

Decals: Microscale 72-219 S-3A East & West Coast Vikings plus stencils from the kit

The aftermarket decals were beautifully printed but wafer thin and a bear to use. The kit decals (originals) were....sticky!

Thanks for looking and to @TEMPESTMK5 for a great GB!

Happy modelling.

Dermot

Not another T-33!

No, here's my Royal Thai Air force RT-33, reconnaissance version converted from a Great Wall Hobby T33 using Milliput and plastic card.

The Paint scheme is late in the service life of these planes and is based on a survivor in the RTAF museum in Bangkok.

Here's the higher, more rounded nose of the RT model. Clear window in the nose with 'camera ' visible inside.
