YK GOH
With the Valom 1/48 Islander available, it opens up opportunity to tackle a less known aircraft that was sent to the Far East. Defender c/n 235 was sent to Singapore in 1972 for a sales pitch to the Singapore Air Defence Command (SADC) and was registered 9V-BDT. The SADC chose the Skyvan instead and 9V-BDT was later sold to Airfast in Indonesia. I wonder whether the registration 9V-BDT was also painted below the wings as none of the photos I have seen have visibility of that area. Also hoping that Valom will provide the pylons for a Defender in a future release. https://abpic.co.uk/pictures/view/1036961 Warmest regards, YK
YK GOH
Found a grainy photo of c/n 235 when it was G-AYTS from http://aviadejavu.ru/Site/Crafts/Craft20908-3.htm#pics It shows that the registration G-AYTS was painted below the port wing. Could I assume that when it was re-registered as 9V-BDT, that was painted below the port wing as well?
