Calum
Currently building a Special Hobby 48 scale Early Firefly Mk 1 and am getting close to paint. (see here) What is the consensus on if the Camouflage in the EDSG /Dark Slate grey over sky scheme as to whether this would have had a hard edge or soft edge? Thanks in advance
Grey Beema
From pictures I went hard edge but as TSS is quite low contrast it is difficult to see..
Giorgio N
Same as pretty much every British built aircraft of the time: generally hard with a hint of very tight overspray between the two upper camo colours. If you can replicate this, then give it a try, if you're not sure, a hard edge will be more realistic than an excessively wide overspray. Hard edge between upper and lower surfaces
JWM
On this movie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTqt7NWcZhs you may see tha the border lines are really sharp Cheers J-W P.S> Interesting to observe possible different positions of flaps in air to air sequences close to end of this movie Edited April 5, 2019 by JWM
