Hi Francis.  I'm sorry but I managed to miss this before! Well I must say I was very impressed with your Stug and base, but the figures make it more impressive and really bring it to life.

Very well done. :worthy:

Kind regards,

Stix

Hi Stix,

No problem, I had not seen your comment, sorry.

As always your comments are more than kind, and very appreciated.
To be my first diorama seriously, although I may be wrong, I recognize that it is not bad, even when in view of the result of the GB, if I have thought about it.

Cheers Stix. 👍

Excellent work on the figures, it’s nice addition to the StuG! 👏

Many thanks for your kind comments and like, i'm gla you like it.

The figures, were a headache, because I am a "denied" for that, but I made a thousand attempts, to get something decent, because many mates, suggested that it was necessary to accompany the model of something "alive" ...
IMHO, do not detract too much from the rest of the work.

Cheers mate. 👍

I'm glad this and your other builds have found their way to the top again Francis. They're very good, the groundwork and figures are also of a very high standard.

Just do what you like and have fun! 😉 Anyway, the figures looks great and now you’re having some experience on it.

It is certainly good advice, and you are right, that practice makes perfect, but it is soooo difficult .. lol.
Anyway as you comment, I got a certain level so as not to spoil the composition.
Cheers Nikolay. 👍

HI Roger,

Many thanks for your kind words, this is definitely like the New York Stock Exchange ... lol, as soon as you give way to other new constructions, as when you don't even remember what you did, it comes back for a while.

Cheers Rogers 👍

Hi Ernst,

My apologies for taking so long to respond, I just "came" here, and it has been so long since I posted this, that I hardly even remembered ... lol.
Your opinions highly appreciated, I'm glad you like it.
I hope everything goes well there, for you and yours.
All the best, and TC.

That's a sweet little diorama.

Well done.

Hi Cadman,

My sincere apologies, I haven't seen the dioramas section for years, only the Armor one, and when I'm able to start doing something...
Thank you very much for your kind comment and your like, much appreciated for having taken a moment to see and comment.
All the best.

Very nice Francis .... if that's your first diorama, it's turned out really well!

Great detail on the Stug and the figures are nicely finished.

Will we see another one? 🤔

Hi Keith,

Many thanks fpr ypur like and kind comments, i'm glad you like it.

Well, technically it's my first "serious" diorama. When I was little I made a couple of vignettes/bases for 1/72 tanks, all very basic and crude, although it improved the model, without a doubt... but of course guided by the illustrations in the MATCHBOX, TAMIYA, ESCI catalogues... and some modelling magazines that I could buy with my meager savings... it was really frustrating... what I saw was so good in my eyes, that I put it aside...
The truth is that I don't know if you've seen it, but there's another model in the forum, with, rather, a base, which would be my second attempt, nothing complicated compared to the wonders that are seen here, but, it improves the model...
If you haven't seen it and you're interested, here's a link to the RFI thread, it's a TAKOM Chieftain Mk2 at 1/35.
I have an idea for an old model, which keeps on going around in my head, especially when I finish a kit and I have to think about the next one. If I don't start any, it's my time to try something outside my comfort zone, which doesn't usually come to fruition, and I start with some kit, then, until I finish it there is nothing else in that field...

Cheers

I have had a look at the Chieftan and have to say its ery good .... I really like it.  Nice simple base that really shows the tank off ... good work!

Hi Keith,

I'm glad you like it, without a doubt a base, even if simple (the more elaborate, the better, of course), improves any model, and if it has decent figures...the icing on the cake...:tasty:

Excellent diorama especially the small tuft grass on the undercarriage and link's, soft mud on also.
