GordonD
You may not recognise the name but you'll know his face and particularly his voice - he was Scott Tracy and appeared in many, many TV shows and films. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shane_Rimmer 1
Carts
Bum,I always enjoyed when he popped up in various programmes and films and I would think,"Why do I know that voice"
Neil Lambess
Apparently his appearance in Batman Begins with the Scott Tracy esque line " the monorails out of control it's going to crash " was entirely a nod to Thunderbirds. Saddened a lot by his passing .a childhood hero in many ways Edited March 30, 2019 by Neil Lambess Typo
cosmosman
I have a signed photo of Scott Tracy from Shane from a couple of years ago when my daughter looked after him and Matt Zimmerman at a Sci-Fi convention in Manchester. Actually spoke to Alan Tracy on phone. Surreal or what !!!!

I showed both Scott and Alan video clips of the Schlieren wave patterns around their respective Thunderbirds at supersonic speeds...! I think they were both impressed and baffled at the same time, but I suspect that they were used to that. Oh, and it was in the Cold War Exhibition hangar at RAF Cosford. RIP, Shane. You will be sadly missed.
