M113 STGB

Hi,

Armour GB’s are on a roll currently.

I wonder if if there is any interest in a STGB covering the most numerous Western AFV ever produced..

The M113 has seen service all around the world in pretty much every major conflict of the 20th and 21st century and has spawned a vast amount of variants on the basic body and even more using the basic chassis..

The GB would cover all vehicles using the M113 chassis.

Fancy a M163 VADS

NASA Fire fighting version..

Yep allowed.

There is not a shortage of kits in the main scales with 1/35 being well represented with 113 variants...

Its also not a huge build task as the vehicle is pretty basic.

So a myriad of users of a vehicle that had a myriad of versions that’s well represented in kit form and is not a massive build project.

any takers???

Cheers

While researching the NASA M113 fire engine i found this link.

https://forums.armchairgeneral.com/forum/historical-events-eras/vietnam-war/61271-fire-trucks-at-war

They talk about an M113 Fire engine used by the U.S.Army at Long Binh Vietnam 1969. Its actually looks like a real fire truck its all red and gold ? Another possibility for someone willing to scratch build all the equipment, 900 gallon tank, and paint it up.
