fjaweijfopi4j48
A build from 2008, 11 years ago: I bet you never heard of this one. 1919…a seaplane-glider...now, that’s a concept. Whatever the logics behind it, the result was as cute as cumbersome. A not well known Fokker apparatus that was also tried on wheels, apparently didn’t produce any remarkable results to assure a place in posterity…other than this one. Towed by a motor boat with and without a pilot, the flight performance was strangely about the same. It was reported that among fish and cattle some stress cases were developed but fortunately without major consequences. Same goes for the pilot. It is a small model in 1/72, with simple lines that render design and construction easy enough to be dealt with over a weekend. 15
janneman36
That is a very new Fokker for me.. never seen that on before but it has certainly the Fokker details like those tailplanes👍 cheers, Jan
pheonix
Never heard of it either but it is obvious where it cam from. It may have been a weekend edition scratch build, but it does not show - no drop in standard because of speed of construction. P
Horatio Gruntfuttock
What a fascinating little aeroplane Mr Moa. I can't imagine that it would be all that stable on water especially in any kind of choppiness. A simple little beast but I am still getting my head around it "being dealt with over a weekend"! Well done, again!

invidia
Interesting subject, has the fokker tailplanes, bet the drag on that float didn't help performance!
Dazey
Interesting concept... I wonder if they had tackling Niagara falls in mind? Thanks for sharing. Regards, David
busnproplinerfan
You sure won't need a big display case for this one. Never heard of it before, good model.

Another one on the to-do list, I have a penchant for Slingsby gliders Lovely little Fokker Moa!
