sammy da fish
Thanks for these posts and pictures Homebee. I will be having one or two of these models which are long overdue. Thanks also go to Modelsvit for having the foresight to bring us a C/D 109. Simon

Work In Progress
So, me not being the world's greatest 109 expert, which one of them got the slats right? its a massive difference of opinion on two otherwise very similar looking kits
jimmaas
IIRC, the Bf-109B had no wing armament and slats that extended all the way to the landing gear bay. With the introduction of wing guns, the slat length had to be reduced. Of course, that means the AMG kit had 'B' (long slat wings, but if so, why the underwing bulge?

Nah, not for me.....I'm all 1/48 109-ed out! After many years of buying multiple 109s, 190s and the like, I've finally found as I hit retirement that there are limits to how many times even I can be persuaded to buy the proverbial 'better mousetrap'! Life's just too short to keep buying and building the same thing over and over and over again. Good luck to those who still haven't hit that point, but my recent 1/48 purchases have all been kits of subjects either never released before or only done in the dim and distant past and I don't see this changing..... 2
