DaveH
Thanks for the comments gents, Chris, when you get round to building this one, leave the nose wheel off until you've done all the painting and decals.... it's so flamin fragile....😣 Edited March 17, 2019 by DaveH

DaveH
Hi Steve, will be doing just that.... got three from Hattons for a really good price, so two more to do... also was given kit of original Airfix JP... was first kit I saved for, and made.... 1964ish...will be making this as a comparison... feifeitim
That’s a lovely build Dave, well done! I think your comparison between the 2 kits might give you some interesting conclusions! I built the original kit too as a Mk3 but had to use a set of Matchbox wings as the wing roots appear to have been shaped like those on the Mk 1 rather than the Mk 3. Even the picture on the bag header shows this incorrectly too I believe?
DaveH
Hi Feifeitim, glad you like..... The guy who gave me the old kit said the first 3's had the old style wing, so this might explain the difference.... Does mean I'm stuck with a painted aluminium finish though..... bit boring.....
