HobbyBoss F-84F Thunderstreak JaboG 31 1/48 ***NEW PICS***

Recommended Posts

Hallo Freunde

Hi Werner,

outstanding work!

The paint work is top class.

Congrats

PS: is there something missing in the exhaust section? I am not a Streak specialist, but I have to ask.

Great job!

Hi guys

Yesterday i got the idea to make a photo session at the old abandoned Luftwaffe air base of ex-JaboG 43 in Oldenburg. Hope you like the pics.

I know in the 60th we didnt had HAS (Hardened Aircraft Shelter ), but i was thinking thats could be a better location than in my garden, right?

As you can see, the Pitot tube on the left wing is missing, its happened at the transport to the air base................sh**

Everyone loves to see the sight of a Luftwaffe Thunderstreak with big orange painted fuel tanks and a yellow nose.It added colours to an otherwise bleaky era. (By the way i think the front gear is too far forward!)

Hello mate

Thank you for your kind words, yes your right the front gear is too far forward, i think the reason is, coz i used the Revell/Monogram part, what was not really perfect fitting, but i can live with it.

Excellent build. Wonderful paint job. May I ask what paints you used? I am planning to build a German F-84F too and wonder what would be accurate colors.
