Abandoned Project
I have a Mil Mi-26 Halo which will be wearing Aeroflot colours in the stash and I have started to think about getting something fixed wing to use as a size comparison. Any ideas? Preferably something civvy as the Halo will be in civvy colours.
JosephLalor
I think Roden or Toko did an Antonov
Abandoned Project
I can only find Eastern Express in 1/144. I was looking for something in 1/72 about 600x600, roughly the same area as the Halo takes up. Thanks for looking anyway.
Abandoned Project
Been doing some research. The Zvezda Halo fuselage is approximately 460mm long, so I'm looking for something with a similar length fuselage. Not too sure about the Roden An-10/An-12 as I've read some mixed reviews of the actual construction. I've ruled out the C-130 due to various issues and so far my front runners are the Heller 707 and the Revell A400m although they are both a bit on the big side. Any much needed advice will be greatly appreciated.
chris57
Toko did three Antonov 72/74's in 1/72 scale. I made one as Ukrainian AF, sold one on and have one in the depths of the stash somewhere. If I remember correctly the one I moved on was in civil Artic supply markings. The length of the model is 390 mm. hth cheers Chris
