Beautifully done - particularly considering the scale! Super finishing and weathering and delightful details.

Cheers

Now that's an extremely nice Ju88. How on earth did it happen that it didn't win Gold?

What color did you use for the oleo strut? They really look like chrome.

Superb modelling – makes you wonder what the gold medal winner could possibly have to trump this masterpiece…

A feast for the eye of a night fighter enthusiast!

Kind regards,

Thank you!

You tell the judges..!!!

The oleo struts are covered with a thin strip of Bare Metal Foil, carefully stuck and nicely buffed! Always does the trick!

Thanx for the info.  IMO metal foil is (apparently) the way to achieve a perfect finish!  That said, the earth on the tires looks super realistic as well!👍

Thanks again!
The earth is MIG pigments "Europe Earth".

Outstanding model! Weathering, staining, and mottling are very subdued and realistic... if you hadn't stated the scale, I would have thought it was 1/48! Well done!

Brilliant work!

Lots of attention to small details.

Great paint job as well.

Well deserves a Silver medal.
