exdraken
so... paint is on additionally, I thought that maybe the big external tank would not be all bad... some extra range for a decent SEAD mission cant be wrong, no? here together with lot's of masking tape... and now Revell 99 as a base metal color: thanks for looking, comments and ideas! /Werner

Col.
Oooh this is looking rather good Werner I've always thought the 'Foxbat' needed a set of F-off big missiles to compliment its looks and these, while not the ones I'm used to seeing, work well
mirageiv
Lovely smooth painting Werner, I'd go for the fuel tank too. I wonder what the top speed was with all those stores hanging off, it would do well to go past Mach 1!

Marlin
Absolutely stunning Werner. I got the Revell kit cheap in Lübeck last week, and now I think I'll just have to order the CWS set for the BM-version for it. /Bosse
exdraken
started with decals today... I thought that would be easy .. Begemot should be complete.. more as I have to two those sheets... but! I wanted to do an operational scheme... not a probably fake Iraqi one... not the camo one, and not red 78 as proposed..... because it seems it did not have the fake radar painted.... so I went into the photos I have collected... and it seems that in the 80ies, those bord numbers where red with BLACK outline most of the time.... go figure and find high double digit red, black outline numbers! 71, 75, 78, 79, 82 so in the end I went for my newer Begemot sheet red stars (a bit darker then the older example I have) and Bobcat Firebar red 5 & 7 to make 75 not so bad I hope! cheers, Werner Edited June 30, 2019 by exdraken
trickyrich
looking good, Werner, you're almost there. You could always mist a light coat of white or grey on the decals if they're a bit too bright or intense.
