Homebee
SOVA-M is to release a 1/72nd Gates U-36A Learjet kit - ref. SVM72006 We can therefore probably expect a family of 1/72nd Gates Learjet from Amodel Source: https://hlj.com/1-72-scale-u-36a-learjet-svm72006 Box art V.P. Aren't SOVA-M "related" in some way to Amodel? Hopefully Amodel will continue to expand their bizjet range. Jeff
Corsairfoxfouruncle
I wonder if they’ll plan on civilian models of the lear. I used to work for a private airline, and we used several different models of Lear’s finest.
pinky coffeeboat
If you can cope with 1/144 size, Stransky Kits offer a few Learjet 35 models including the JASDF scheme above plus a few civvy versions too. It's a sweet little kit, just have a magnifier handy! Jeff
Smudge
AModel already have a 1/72 C-21A USAF Learjet. Is this the same kit but with some extra parts and new decals?

Smudge
Sorry guys. My mistake. I was thinking of the Mach2 kit. I am looking forward to an AModel C-21, should be nice.
Romeo Alpha Yankee
FYI, Amodel and Sova-M are the same company. I wonder why these model companies release the same kits under different company names? Same goes for Trumpeter and Gallery Models (and a couple of others I believe)
Romeo Alpha Yankee
I was not sure of the relationship of the U-36A with the Learjet family, so some Google-foo informed me that it is a dressed up Learjet 35/6 or C-21A. Very happy to see this, and I expect Amodel will be releasing a few other versions. Hopefully a Finnish Air Force version is in the mix

Whofan
I confess that I am tempted by this - or these - learjet models, as it is such an iconic name in civil aviation. I am amused though by the flash on the bottom left of the box - " only 450 pieces"!

cf18hornet
Hello everyone. I will admit I really don’t know a whole lot about the SOVA-M brand. For those in the know what is the quality of these kits like and would it be recommended to pick one up because I’m very interested in the USAF C-21A. Thanks in advance.
