72modeler
I just now found photos taken at a museum in Utah which has what looks like an airworthy Sea Venom! Can anybody tell me more about this beautiful preserved example? See the link below and scroll down to view the image. Looks pretty original to me! @NAVY870 Steve, do you know anything about her? (How's your hand, BTW?) NAVY870
Ex 724 target tow bird, went to the Mildura warbird's museum in 66 after it was struck off charge. Sold to Dennis Sanders in the US sometimes in the 1980's where it was restored to flight and put in a somewhat dodgy RN scheme. Its owned now by a group called Forgotten Warbird's and is in the care of John Hammon's Ultimate Aviation. The owners are a fine bunch of chaps who foolishly use me as a long distance technical advisor. 7
72modeler
I just now noticed- passing interest? Your nose is growing, Pinnochio! Thanks for the info on the Sea Venom, BTW. 😜 Mike

The shennanigans and goings on in aircraft restoration does my head in!
72modeler
Politics rearing its ugly head? I sure hope not, Steve. From what I have seen and read in your posts, you have done an incredible job preserving and restoring classic warbirds. Mike
