Edwin Parks
I wonder if any of the figure modelling fraternity could point me at a source of 1/35 figure heads with Arabic headdress? I have searched to net, but I may well be looking in the wrong place. I am working on an Arab Legion project and would like to do some more figures, if I could find the heads I could use most WW2 British figures. dcrfan
I thought Hornet did a set but just checked their current catalogue - No.

Edwin Parks
A Shamagh worn tucked up on either side into the agyle. Id put up a photo but I have so far failed to work out how to do it.
Edwin Parks
I hope I have now managed to work out how to post a picture. This shows the type of headdress I need. Interestingly it is actually a photo of two solders one of which is actually reworking the fringe on a newly issued Shamagh.
Black Knight
The only place I can think you can get these, but are slightly in the wrong scale being nominally 1/32 are Timpo toy Arabs. Cut them off the Bedouin type figure and add to your figure
Nick Belbin
Or maybe use an SAS / LRDG figure as a start? Nick

Although the Arab legion were rather less scruffy than the SAS! In fact one of my needs is for a vehicle crew and there is a choice of them available!!! dcrfan
If you're going down the scratchbuilt route there are some very good character heads in the Hornet range with Arab facial features http://www.hornetandwolf.com
Edwin Parks
Sadly Hornet has deleted its Arab heads. I looked though the entire current catalogue and I don't see any Arab faces, but I suppose its a matter of opinion. Thanks anyway Eddie
