welcome along Stu with a couple of Tonka's, something that is very popular at the moment.

I like the ECR version, are you going to do the Timer Meet scheme? What do you have planned for the GR.1, the Anti-Shipping GR.1B or the Recon GR.1A version? You just need to be careful of the version and weapons fitted to it to be eligible as they were never a specialist tank buster.

Good luck with the build, it'll be interesting to see what schemes you choose, look forward to seeing them in the gallery.

The ecr will be in the plain grey operational markings included as a secondary option, the raf one won’t be an entry as such it’s my tribute to the retirement of the type a few days ago that’s thread sharing, will be a gr4 in one of the recent special schemes, though maybe if I can get a freightdog raptor recon pod it might fit....

don't let that stop you from building them in the thread, no one will mind if you build the non eligible one in this thread. Just post the ones that are eligible into the gallery.

I decant Models im working on into open top boxes too, thought there was something wrong with me. I do like to cut the picture out though from the model box and tape it into the top opening one 😬

Looking forward to seeing the Harrier too

Feel free to post some sanding technique pics. It’s a thing I have yet to do well, up and down like the Loch Ness monster

“Technique” well erm I grap various grades of paper, apply elbow grease, lick of paint and repeat minus the coarsest grade until repainted after sanding a final time with the finest grade

I only use a sanding stick then blow off the dust then paint the top coat. Il need to get some different grades of sandpaper and stop and resand after to see where I am at..

Be great to master that technique ahead of the D-Day group build, another thing I need to learn..good job

Certianly cant claim to have mastered it, closer inspection will find the stripes aren’t the appropriate scale inches in width nor perfectly horizontal/vertical
