Fine Molds 1/72 Y-Wing Gold Leader

Recommended Posts

Hi, I finished this model some time before I registered at this forum, just before I started the actual project (Snowspeeder). The box was lying around for some years and when Bandai announced their fantastic model series I was unsure if this will hold up. But I don´t regret building this one and not buying the Bandai one instead. It´s still a fantastic kit and I am happy how it turned out.

And one more with its current 1/72 Star Wars siblings in its 'natural environment'.

Very nice, nothing wrong with the fine mold kits at all and you have done a great job.

In comparisons the Bandai version seemed a little bit more accurate (especially the cockpit -> inside and the overall form) and massive. But in the past I had some problems with a few huge gaps, because of its snap kit nature. This Fine Molds Model fitted perfectly.
