PatW
Set up as a National Rally contender taking into consideration it's age, but still using the factory decals. The front end paintwork had to be replaced 3 times due to constant heavy orange-peel and therefore cleaning off and re-applying. In the final application, automotive primer was used to solve the problem. The rest of the body was unaffected and of high gloss finish throughout! The kit being quite old but the Airfix decal sheet and the lay-up onto the body the decals were first class in their finish!

PatW
Cheers Windy37. Yes I like to change the colours of my(!) Impreza's. Just a few of my previous Scooby's other than the normal Blue one's! Edited March 3, 2019 by PatW
Marco F.
Your Imprezas in uncommon colours looks real good. I like your ideas to use different colours, it's interessting and the details get more notice. That's the best part of our Hobby, each of us is able to follow his fantasy to create a unique model. PatW
Thanks Marco F, yes that's my main idea of model making, that we can make any kit look as we would like to see it in real life. Some don't like to play around with colours/decals/interior/seats/roll cage/ wheels/ tyres, but that is my/your choice to personalise. Just use imagination to the full.
Windy37
That 7 up Impreza looks good . Youve got better colour schemes than the current WRC teams ! I reckon 5 year olds have designed most of the schemes ! Gary.

Hard to tell exactly on my tablet screen..) one's my fave. W-D
