I new this would happen as soon as I bought the Wingsy kit in 1/48th scale! Oh well if they do later versions I'll get one of those.

Resin engine for A5M2 Claude. It was developed by our 3D designers and produced by our friends - RES/KIT company. The engine consists of 53 parts, including exhaust pipes and cooling gills in the opened position. At the enclosed pictures you can see both - renders and resin parts of engine.

The engine consists of 53 parts...

And I throught the modelling world was moving away from huge parts count and over engineering kit construction? I suspect all this extra stuff will come with a price tag to match. Good luck all the same, perhaps they sold a good number of Gloster Whittle kits.

 Cheers. Dave

The parts count and detail on this is just mental. Let's hope it all fits well.

I don't know this brand, how are their other models?

Does it come with the robot that builds it like in the video?

Of course not, it's clearly a ghost, but I think the box says "Ghost not included" so you'll have to find your own :ghost:

I am selling two ghost if anyone is interested. Shipping free as the fella can just float to your coordinates. ghosts are invisible but respond to their name.

Regular ghost - 99$ His name is Cartwright.
Premium edition ( can turn valom kits into tamiya like finish ) - 145$  His name is Goober.

I also have a somewhat evil but dumb spook who is quite good at dioramas - especially real estate and building walls. His name is Donald. But he responds to the phrase -"makefroggreatagain".

ps: Donald has a strange weakness for Zvezda kits .

New boxing announced: A5M2b Claude (late version) Advanced Kit CP72009. As far as could be seen, 'Advanced' differs from 'Expert' in that the former lacks resin and turned metal parts included in the latter.

As far as I know there are no turned metal parts in A5M2b Early, only resin engine. Only metal element is PE fret.

In my huble opinion plastic engine is very good and only required part which really requires replacement are exhausts. These plastic ones are moulded strangely.

Now I'm looking forward to this new boxing.

You are mistaken, A5M2b Early has turned metal parts, namely brass Pitot Tube and antenna

A5M2b late version will not be issued in the modification "Expert", but only in "Advanced", which includes only plastic, masks, decals and PE parts. Accordingly, the price of Advance kit A5M2b late version will be lower than the price of Expert kit A5M2b early version.

I would have been happier to see a more basic kit of the early version, I already have later versions from Finemolds & like the look of the early one with full canopy to compliment them but the price is right up there, especially when post to New Zealand & our exchange rate is a factor.

Normally kits made in Eastern Europe are very well priced - Arma hobby , IBG , Eduard , ICM all offer superb kits and at extremely reasonable rates .  So it a bit of a surprise that Clearprop , an Ukranian company , is charging in excess of 30$ for a 72nd scale fighter . I understand it is quite well detailed but maybe they should take a leaf out of Eduard's  gameplan and offer multiple tiers including a basic version. Arma hobby has done this with great success .
