Awesome!!

Will you be painting it in the D-Day colours that Lakenheath have done with their own F-15's?

Looking good so far! And can't wait to see where you end up with that GR4 too!

The GR4 was supposed to be this build but when they announced the farewell special schemes I put it on the backburner to hang on for someone to release Goldstar tail. But actually im loving this Eagle kit and im glad this came first 😌

I'm not entirely sure to be honest?

The fit is much better but the subject isn't as special 😋

Excellent choice and am a USAF retiree who had spent 3 years at RAF Lakenheath to send back to the US the F-4D Phantom and muster in the F-111F from January 1977 to January 1980. One of my eldest daughters friends joined the USAF and spent many years at RAF Lakenheath with the F-15.

Your doing a smashing job and like the Revell kit. I have 5 and have built 1. Seems the fault of crashing during the build is part of the kit. Same issue but the other wing and fuselage. Press on

Hannants do a replacement vacform canopy for the F15A/C models so you may be able to use that? It's designed for hasegawa kits but should be able to make it fit maybe? Their part number is falcon FNCV5428.

Outstanding recovery!!! Shouldn't be noticeable in full color. Years ago I bought a bunch of vacuform canopies to work with and use in the event one split. Looking good

Would an A/C canopy fit an E? They're single seaters?

You'd need a E or a D would do. I can't really help but I guess your only options are to either wait and see if you can pick up a D or E model kit very cheap on eBay (if you're happy to have an open canopy then you should be able to get away with any manufacturers rendition) or alternatively, I've heard of people vac forming their own canopies but, I'd imagine that would be very complicated as you'd still need a kit canopy as a mold and you'd need to find someone with the gear to do it. So sadly I think you're going to have to wait for a cheap donor kit.

Bad luck but you should definitely keep going.
