Built box stock adding seatbelts, helmet visor, and Fujimi mechanics. This is a test version without the factory red bodywork or driver race numbers.

Gosh, that’s a blast from the past! I had no idea there was a mainstream kit of one of the more successless 80s F1 cars... wait, how about an Osella-Alfa to match?😉

Looks very nice, I assume it would have been Christian Danner‘s mount ? At least he made a couple of points in his later Rial mount...

Nice to see one built.

Hasegawa had a run of 'anything with a Yamaha engine' F1 kits. They did the Zakspeed, Jordan and various permutations of Tyrrells. You could successfully model the rear of any grid around the turn of the 90s....

On the plus side, they also did the Benetton B190, Williams FW14 and the gorgeous Larrousse Lamborghini (which just happened to be driven by Aguri Suzuki as was this Zakspeed together with Bernd Schneider)

Thanks guys. Yes I've just looked up who the drivers would have been. They were Bernd Schneider and Aguri Suzuki for the 891.
