Sharknose
Hi. New to airbrushing and after some advice. I've bought this respirator. I assume it is good enough for airbrushing. I don't spend much time. 30 mins or so once a week tops. https://www.screwfix.com/p/3m-4251-maintenance-free-organic-vapour-particulate-respirator-ffa1p2rd/13038?tc=TT6&ds_kid=92700024696252629&ds_rl=1241687&ds_rl=1245250&ds_rl=1244069&ds_rl=1247848&ds_rl=1245250&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIv4Xvi5_V4AIVQ7TtCh0rKASqEAQYBi
PhoenixII
Will do you just fine. Just remember to change the filters on expiry.
Sharknose
Cheers, although claims to be maintenance free. No need to change them. Mind you, makes drinking tea awkward as I realised yesterday when I raised my mug trying to take a drink. 😀
Gorby
That's the same one I have, but something to remember - someone on here who uses them in their job said that when not in use they should be stored in an air-proof container to extend the life of the filters. I use a zip-lock type bag.

No need to change them. @Sharknose The filters have a 'life', if you haven't recycled the packaging! have a look at the packs the filters came in. Even with the minimal use they get from us, they'll stop 'working as advertised' about six months after their 'best before' date. Gorby's @Gorby comment above is also worth following.
Sharknose
Cheers both. I keep it in the original package which has one of those plastic seals and will check the use by date. Appreciate your time in replying.
