I’m building the 1/72 scale version of the same kit. It’s actually been a pretty pain free build so far, assume the 1/48 is just scaled up and builds up just as nice. Granted the intake is a little mis-shaped, but no kit is perfect.

Looking forward to seeing that Greek paint scheme!!

Cheers

Collin

Fresh and clean like a brand new one. The decals will give this one a sense of identity and make a big difference to how it looks.

Hello, just came across this. Looks very nice. Always liked the Cosair II in almost any scheme I saw. The question is, if you like it more clean or more used and worn. I'm mediocre on that.  For me a bit more, but less can be more sometimes in scale. Cheers

It looks fine to me. Viewed it in isolation first then found some photos of the real machines to compare and it still looks fine :goodjob:

That is one very nice Corsair. Just had a quick look through the WIP and you have done a top job. In my opinion the panel lines are just right, too many models are spoiled by unrealistic highlighting of every line. The 48th kit looks like a bigger version of the 72nd which I have started in the A-7a version and will hopefully finish after this GB.

Cheers Allan

Nice.  There was one that came to a Mildenhall Airfete years ago.  Found some pics on line a while back

i vaguely remember seeing it.  Yours looks great - very nice build.

i did another A-7 that came to a Mildenhall show.  An A-7D from an ESCI 1/48 kit
