viscount806x
Nice choice of schemes but is it new tool plastic too? Much apprehension from me on that one.
fightersweep
Don't suppose there is a conversion for a 800 out there at all? Not entirely sure what it entails...must check as I really want an 800. Steve

Long out of production but I've never seem any built so you might be able to flush one out. The V.700 is particularly nice because it includes both types of engine nacelles to enable any variant.
fightersweep
Thanks for the info! I'll have a look and see what I can find. I'm really hoping to build a British Air Ferries Viscount which I thought (maybe wrongly) were 800s. I've got a Herald I would like to do. Growing up near Southend airport, I saw a fair few in my day. Never got to fly in a Viscount, but did get aloft in a Herald. Great aeroplanes! The BAF ones were series 800s, of a number of sub-variants. These were longer than the 700s and also had the bulged engine nacelles to accommodate the later RR Dart variants. fightersweep
Thanks! That's kind of what I remembered without looking things up. Maybe with the re-release of the kits a conversion set might appear? Fingers crossed.
