For a bit of fun, here's a photo of my first exhibition layout, built by my dad and me during 1976. This is the only photo I have of it. It was OO scale and probably all Hornby rolling stock. It's first exhibition was 1977. The design was a terminus station with double tracks leading away through a tunnel to a hidden yard. I don't think it lasted past 1978 as by 1979, we had moved to N scale to get better use of space. The picture is so old, colour hadn't been invented!!!
