I added a True Detals cockpit (which fit great), after market decals, and metal barrels for the gun pods. I was drawn to the unusual paint schemes used by this unit, utilized MRP paint, and camo was painted freehand. Apparently, they hunted allied bombers as they were illuminated by searchlights over Germany...dodging friendly AAA at the same time! Posed it by my Ta-152 for scale. If there is a jarring note, it's visible in the fourth photo from the top: the mainwheels look as if they have virtually neutral camber ('standing upright'). In fact, Bf 109 mainwheels have a very marked negative camber, as illustrated in the photos below. The main gear, and the sit of the plane, just won't look right without it.
