CedB
Nice work Steve Are you thinning the W&N before spraying? I use about 50/50 with water from the condensing dryer. Works well for me.
ProfSparks
Hi All Well, that was unexpected! Buoyed with success, I started the seats, rounding the backs off And painting them a nondescript brown. I CA'd the smaller parts of the seatbelts to the not quite so small parts while they were still on the fret And after several fraught sessions with my pointy tweezers, cocktail sticks, pins, the discovery of magnetic plastic and some new words, they were on Even this small, they are quite thick and slightly large, and the edges need doing first, but they're done. Just the headrests to go in, then it's tutti to the Coda. Comments and suggestions welcome Cheers Steve

ProfSparks
Hi All Thanks guys, your builds have inspired me to try new subjects and techniques, never thought I'd get it this far! Headrest cushions on and the edges of the paint that were up against the masks were given a dab of brown wash and wiped off Onto the lights. Teeny things carefully painted with a dab of red and green, then the backs coated with silver. Other lenses had an ejection pin mark that looked like the deck landing light(?) (or possibly the other way round?) and was also filled in silver Needless to say, the Port one pinged off my tweezers, through an errant wormhole, never to be seen again. I've filled in the tip with Kristal Klear and hope no-one notices. Last job for this evening The main trunks are glued and drying, next session I'll fix the various actuating rods, doors and whatnots, see if she actually sits on her nose. Anyhoo, in other news, a Walrus paint mule has had a change of heart as the result of an After Hours build Not worthy of a WIP or RFI, but here it is anyway in case you were wondering Rough as a Badgers' A*se, only just saved from the bin, but who can resist a Penguin decal? ProfSparks
Hi All I got the gear doors on, and after a while couldn't wait... Nose Sitter! I started thinning down the exhausts a bit But caught the aerial on my sleeve, heard it pinging across the galaxy, and decided to wait and calm down. The rear canopy felt like it was going to split asunder as soon as I picked it up to put it on. Tail hook (let's see how long that lasts), rudder, prop, and we're done! I'll get some pictures for RFI if I can carry it anywhere without it imploding on me... Ah, here they are Thanks a million to all who tagged along, onward and upward!
