MarkSH
Afternoon all, My second effort for the GB will be Revell's 1/48 Stearman PT-17 Kaydet: The contents and the colour plan for my intended victim As you can see the contents are moulded in bright yellow shiny plastic and although there is some very nice fine detail currently its almost impossible to see: I can't wait to get some boring grey primer on this baby! Cheers, Mark.
modelling minion
Great choice Mark, truly a classic trainer if ever there was one. What a God awful colour plastic to work with, reminds me of the old multi-colour Matchbox kits!

Anyway as you say a truly classic trainer, and one I am really looking forward to getting in to the display case eventually alongside the new 1/48 Tiger Moth. Just think how many pilots did their basic training in those two types and the things they went on to do.
Col.
That plastic is certainly yellow. In fact I'd even say it was YELLOW! The grey primer will be the best way to start this one.
