Reini78
Redecided and gave this another chance as ghost in the attic. Once in a while there comes a time when you need new free shelf space. With a heavy heart my dad chose another one that bites the dust. I took some final pics to pay it tribute Eduard overtree parts, decals from the sparesbox, streamlined tank racks from an old Monogram kit. The Model shows one of the a/c from SKG 10 that were used for dusk/night raids against England in 1943. On June 19th 1943, the pilot of this aircraft, Unteroffizier Werner Öhne, accidentaly landed, because of a defect radio, bad weather and lost orientation, on a RAF airfield instead of a German airfield in France and was captured. Greg Law
The old shelf storage problem again. Seems a shame to loose such an unusual scheme. I hope you just box it and not bin it.

Thought about boxes too, but then again, were to put all those boxes? 😕 At some point you have to give up some models, sad but true.. My dad and I sometimes joke that we would need a museum or an exhibition hall nearby 😁 Should I win the Euromillions lottery someday then I´ll build a huuuuuuge house 😀
Putty Animal
Shame to see it go, it's a beauty. Maybe next time it might be worth offering a model for sale on eBay or similar auction sites. You'd certainly make your money back on the kit. You might even get enough for a new shelf!
Sturmovik
It was a nicely built model, perhaps for the next shelf cleaning, the idea of selling the model would be nice.
Greg Law
I agree with the guys here. Your models are worth selling.
noelh
Yes you could have offered it here. I'd have it. My shelves are bare. I could pretend it's mine.

Reini78
thanks all for your sympathy and suggestions! We already had that the last time I posted RIP models. It´s hard to pack a model in a way so it doesn´t get damaged or destroyed in mail, guess that´s more work than building the model 😀 Maybe I´ll save the one or other and store it in a box at the addict. 1 hour ago, Vince1159 said: Lovely looking 190,such a shame she got dumped.... it´s in the bin but still intact.... All of us respect quality builds so if you don't want to put them on ebay why not just put them in the 'Free to Good Home' section i'm sure a lot would jmp at the chance..... I see quite a few built models listed on ebay, and they do sell, some people don't have the time or the skills to build them but want them for display. Great model, way too good to bin.
Reini78
As mentioned, this model and also the G-6 will go into a box and will be stored in the attic 😉 Already planned some time ago to store a whole bunch of models there.
