As I am building a plain jane Hawk elsewhere in this GB, I thought it might be nice to build another aircraft in the classic RAF training scheme. The Airfix 1/72 Jet Provost 3 is a lovely little kit which I have built previously as an Venezuelan aircraft. It would look great in the RAF scheme. So I dived into The Stash to find the kit I knew I had. At that point I entered dangerous waters... 🦈 Before I found the Airfix JP3, I found a Sword Strikemaster... which can easily be built as a Jet Provost 5. Both colour schemes in the kit match the schemes in the old Matchbox Strikemaster kit, which makes them very appealing. Luckily I have a couple more of this kit in The Stash.
