My detail parts for the RG Nu Gundam have arrived from http://www.gundammodelcenter.com/

They should add some nice detail and interest to surface of this  Nu. The kit is a mixed of metal thruster parts a few metal detailing parts for the weapons and a plastic sheet of surface detailing parts. The plastic part need to be cut away from the sheet and sand before glueing to the kit. I will to test the best glue to use.

There are no real instructions just some pictures of the parts in place.

A very nice and convenient package for the price I think.

Reshaping one of my exceed gundam head, its a lot harder than I thought it would be to make this look different but reshaped the face plate, chin, chin guards and started on the forehead and visor. I also want to thin the profile of the head just a tad,

My custom Gundam head is just about ready for a flat coat and maybe a bit more dirt. Used the stickers from the RG Sazabi as the decals and paint was done using grey and white spray cans, managed to get a bit of colour modulating effects as well. The rest was hand painted.

Time to start a MG Sinanju and this one is getting a Motorking BFG and a full custom outer armour. I pick up this kit from ebay for a tenner as there are parts missing and no weapons. Its going to take a few months for the armour to get here from Hong Kong so it's going to be a long project.

Starting of but cleaning up the Sinanju frame and building the BFG, the gun is so big and heavy I have had to make a few alterations to make it balance and look better.

Origin gun layout a bit wobbly.

3/4 gun option and full gun looking better balanced.

A gun and a half there! I like that modified head. The antennae, bit long. He looks like an old TV.

Have you seen Appleseed? There are aerials? on that head that may suit your modified one.

And, a belated happy birthday.

Back to working on a Gundam for a bit and the RG Nu Gundam is starting to come together, added more details and some metal parts, going with an RX-78-2 colour scheme. Still lots more to build and paint.

Liking my new phone app for displaying pictures.

So another Gundam this one is from Daban so technically a 3rd party kit. This is the Gundam Astray blue from with full weapons set. There is a lot to this kit and I have arranged all the runners up in my spray booth. This kit has gone together OK for the most part. The body and head didn't have any issues but the two back pack both now have broken parts that I have drilled, pined and glued. Not going to paint this kit, just paint in a few of the details pannel line it all add a chrome decal set. The effects parts do come with the kit and really like them
