Skapman
Hello everyone, this my last model I have just finished. Trumpeter 1:48 Mig-21 F-13 Thanks for looking. This is how the plane was painted in Israel before it was transferred to the United States and disappeared. The plane standing at the Air Force Museum is not the original plane that defected from Iraq. Thanks, Ilan Edited February 16, 2019 by Skapman

Baldy
Beautiful build and superb markings - it looks like they were masked? Very impressive! My guess is that, if it hasn't been destroyed, it sits in a shed at the place that doesn't exist. Cheers Malcolm
k5054nz
I recently read about this airframe and wondered what it looked like in Israeli markings. Beautiful job!
Skapman
Thanks very much guys! Except the few decals I painted everything myself. At first I wanted to use the decals but then I realized that I will never get the same color. Well, I'm very happy with the end result. IrritableRabbit
What a superb finish that is, and you have the masking patience of a host of angels. 😱 I will admit, that after fighting the 1/72 Trumpeter BAC Lightning F6 into some sort of shape I always get a sympathetic twitch when I see others posting Trumpeter aircraft builds. So double well done, and thank you for sharing.

Harold55
Great job and a superb paint job. I was wondering how you did it so thanks for the picture with the one wing taped up. I think this would be the only way to get it right and taken a lot of patience.
