pressman
I must try to make wheels better, not to bad for a first attempt
TGA
Nice job! You'll get the wheels sorted I'm sure! That balsa body would also make a really good base for a metal plated version. Might be worth trying your hand at something like that at some point?
pressman
Thanks for your kind words, I have looked on in wonder at your builds and the other modelers here, I will try harder 🙂
Alpha Delta 210
Unbelievable! I wish I had your skills!
Spiny
Those are very impressive, very hard to believe that they are hand crafter from balsa wood given the level of detail, and even more particularly given the quality of the finish. I do think they justify a few more photos though...
pressman
They are a bit rough and quite quick to make as I get bored easily ! , But I will take more photos , its taken me a few hours to figure out how to post photos !!

TGA
The paper models are stunning pressman, love them! Are you mainly into formula/race cars?
Bandsaw Steve
Impressive effort Pressman. I generally stear clear of balsa but this illustrates what can be achieved with it. 👍.

Spad
These are fabulous pressman! Love the detail and finish. What do you use to finish the balsa? Dope and talc, sanding sealer or something entirely different? Did you produce the patterns for those paper models? I note you mentioned them being scaled up. So many question! Pete in Lincs
And a big WOW! from me. Very impressive. Please keep them coming. Pre 1980's? Proper racing cars. I think I lost interest when they stopped putting numbers on them.
John Aero
These beautiful models remind me that I made a series of 1:16th racing cars of mainly balsa in the early 60's, I remember some, an Alfa P3, Bresica Bugatti, and Jim Clarke's Lotus . The wire wheels were celluloid discs and button thread spokes. I too stopped following GP at the the end of the 60's. John

Getting Old
Lovely work, balsa is one of my favourite mediums but can be a bugga to get a nice result.
