JWM
Hi, My second Mach 2 flying boat, Martin Mariner PBM-3S, the less armoured (turretless) Atlantic variant of PBM3. Machine from VP-214, pilot LT R.Krentz, Nov. 1944, Cuba. Build within Martime and CC airplanes GB. The build thread is here: The Mach 2 kit is a PBM-3 or PMB-5 (different engines), with three turrets. Besides his conversion I replced props and made some smaller mofifications. Machine is from CU\uba and it is worth to mention that some ten German U-boats were sunk on Southern Atlantic (4 along Brasilian shore) and in Carribaean area. So WWII was there also. OK, lets go to see model: Coments welcome Cheers Jerzy-Wojtek
Blue Monday
It really stands out in that paint scheme. Nice build of what is, no doubt, a challenging kit. BM.

JWM
Thank you BM and Patrick for comments. I wanted to have one machine in an Atlantic scheme.... People consider those Mach 2 models a bit challanging, but for example fit of wings into fuselage was in Mariner perfect! Now I am doing Boeing Clipper vacu in 1/72, but it will take a while to end... Cheers J-W Edited February 13, 2019 by JWM
bryanm
Great model, and to see a Mach 2 kit finished so well - and an unusual subject.
