Shelliecool
Ready for inspection is my 1:72 Avro Lancaster Bomber Mk.III, by Revell. It is a straight from the box build, the only change being that I used Vallejo acrylics throughout, and have build my own stand so the aircraft can be displayed in flight. The kit went together well, the sprues were nice and clean and for once I managed to join the fuselage halves without breaking into an angry sweat. So I would have to say this has been one of my favourite kits to build, and I hope I have done an icon justice. Thanks.

dogsbody
Looks good but the rudder mass balances should be pointing forward and on a horizontal plane. Chris
Mark Joyce
Wonderful looking Lancaster; your paintwork and weathering are great. If you only could get those props to spin for the in-flight build, it would really look like business! Cheers, Mark
Greg Law
Nice build. Unusual to see a Lancaster on a stand. Looks good 👍.
Cookenbacher
Yes, that looks quite menacing in flight with the bomb bay doors open, Shellie, very cool.

Chris Thanks Chris, in my defence the illustration on the instructions is tiny and hard to decipher. Thanks , Michelle

Thanks , Michelle Yes, I know. The Revell instructions are not very clear, especially to someone who may not know how such thing work. Other than that small quibble, your build looks great. The concept of mounting it on a post with the bomb doors open is a good one and well done by you. Chris

Jonners
Nice to see it displayed 'in flight', and I have one in my mini-stash, but I have to ask: is it radio controlled?? 😉 Jon
