Alpha Delta 210
Hi I hope you enjoy the photos from my visit on board the USS Pampanito, which made six patrols in the Pacific in World War II, sinking six enemy ships and damaging four more. The Pampanito is part of the San Francisco Maritime National Park Association collection.
Latinbear
We went on the Pampanito on a family holiday a few years ago and my daughter couldn't get out of the sub fast enough as she felt very claustrophobic. Did you go on the Liberty ship moored behind her? They sail it round the bay every year.
Alpha Delta 210
Funnily enough, I didn't feel claustrophobic, but I was the only person on board! Unfortunately, I didn't have time to visit the SS Jeremiah O'Brien.
