MarkSH
Hi all, Here is my second effort for the Grumman Group Build, the Airfix 1/72 J2F-6 Duck, a kit originally released in 1968. The model is depicted as the flying example from the Planes of Fame Museum in California. Pretty much out of the box, the canopy was, however vac formed using the kit part as a master and the decals are home created and printed. A very enjoyable build of an old kit as part of another well subscribed GB The Build thread is here: Pictures: Thanks for looking, Cheers, Mark. 36
Ruskin Air Services
Built this kit several times, built one back in the 1980's as the duck from Murphy's war

stevehnz
A really nice build, for once the rivets don't look out of place & the paint work is terrific. Steve.

Toryu
This is pure nostalgia. I built one around 1970. Unbelievable that such a great model as yours can be made from this kit! I love the scheme. Cheers, Michael
JWM
Very nice result! Your exellent choice was replace the canopy by a vacu one. It makes a big difference in look! Cheers J-W

kapam
Excellent build. Being one of Airfix's older kits, I can imagine it would involve a few challenges to get it looking as good as yours. Brilliant indeed!
