Michael M
Colour and general sculpt is more less OK but the oats are too obviously visible, so are the creases of paper on right angle to the waves themselves. Serves me right for 'improoving' something that was perfectly OK hahaha. No big deal it's a minor 2-3 day setback and I do have planty od other things to work on while the new water will be drying.

Michael M
Water, still a bit to go yet... superstructure... and the rest, just slapped together. Cheers Mick
Michael M
For now, that's the best I can do. Into the tomb, while I'll work on the rest of it I know it could be better, but as the say: Rome wasn't built in one day. That's my second model on the water and fourth water ever done.... I see progress, so it isn't that bad Thanks for watching Mick

Michael M
Nothing like bank holiday weekend FINAL version of water, after some tweaking here and there.. Sry for the amount of pictures, I get carried away sometimes Cheers Mick
ArnoldAmbrose
Gidday Mick, never too many photos. The one you decide to skip will probably be the one that shows a little tip other modelers could have used. And I repeat, I like the additions you do to the superstructures, funnel etc. A question if I may? The railing (or whatever it is) around the bridge I've noticed on many British ships but I am not sure what it does or what it is for. Any Idea? Two ideas that I was wondering - either it creates an updraft to reduce wind across the bridge or it is armour plate, but it doesn't appear deep enough for that. If anyone can enlighten me. Regards, Jeff. 1

ArnoldAmbrose
Gidday Mick, and thanks. That was first guess as I've seen them around sponsons supporting directors and such on cruisers and battlewagons also. Regards, Jeff.

Terry1954
Impressive stuff indeed. This level of detail in 1/700 is awesome, and is what sets such models apart from others. Terry
