 For this Gb I will build the Airfix Dakota and will try to represent Killroy Is Here one of the 2 options in the box

Bonsoir Patrice,

 

I haven't seen the Airfix C-47, but I believe it is a super kit! So you could have chosen a worse model to build!

I must congratulate you on your reading material! Wing Masters is really top notch.

 I used Humbrol HU 226 and I had to paint 2 coates ...

That's a good start Patrice,it's a shame all that detail get's lost when the fuselage is closed up, with Airfix putting so much in to the interior's

of their new multi engined kit's in 1/72 it would be great to have a see through option.

 This week end I placed the rudder and wings

But I must have made a mistake somewhere during the build because there is a ''hole'' at the root and it is bigger on the other side I hade to use some plastic card to solve that ..

Good evening

This week end I masked the D DAY ID bands areas on the wing and fuselage , I also started to paint a first coat of Olive Drab HU 155 ..
