AV O
On their way to completion, encounter with a tiny one. (MRJ 1/200th FineMolds) You can judge its size close to a B-787 engine and the DC-8 (Doyusha) or the B-767-300 (Hasegawa).
AV O
The B-787 is now decorated as prototypes. One side for the R/R engine, the other with the GE engine. Only the reg. number is different. The challenge in decorating was to align properly windows decals and the blue stripe as no window is stamped on the fuselage. AV O
Next on the bench : I had some troubles with the DC-8-73 as I was about to take pictures of it, completed and decorated. Dropping it caused damages to the gears, engines and other things breaking. One wing separated as well. So I took the opportunity of taking a picture of her next to her twin in the process. A DC-8-72. Others are following. An A320 and A321 : After these the 1/200th series will be over, together with the A300-600 : You can have an idea of the evolution on the wing designs comparing the DC-8-72 and the A321 which is almost as long.
