Pete in Lincs
Probably 30 years ago now I bought a robot kit from a pound shop. I believe it was a Revell kit. What to do with it? Well, why not make it a logging scout? But then, what about that war in the Amazon? Not brilliant but I was happy with it back then. But, surely it needs a back up/service truck. So I scratchbuilt one. The wheels are resin copies of a Dinky truck wheel. Looks like this wheel is splitting in two. The wheels are better on this side. All a bit rough and ready but I kept it all that time so I must like it! Oh, scale is 1/48th.
Gorby
That's excellent! The scratch built truck is particularly impressive and the design and the camo have a very dystopian, sci-fi look to it.
Andy Moore
Two great builds Pete. I love the design of the support truck. Andy
Pete in Lincs
Thanks guys. This was very early days in my scratchbuilding skills, so it's a bit basic, but, it does the job. The wheels were made in the glass fibre shop at Odiham BTW!
