Harold55
These are just wonderful. In particular My compliments on your job on the wood grain for the last one and the rigged for all of them. Curious what you used for rigging and how you simulated the turnbuckles/attachment points.
sweaty1
Thank for the comments. Harold55 the rigging is 0.05mm fishing filament. The turn buckles are eyelets from https://bobsbuckles.co.uk. The technique using 1mm lengths of 0.5mm tubing is shown there. All painted with Revell acrylic steel when finished. Thanks for looking. Vinnie
Cracking pair of Albatrosses, Sweaty. Did you really paint the wings on the Stropp plane or are they decals?
Pauls9cb
They're both great looking modelsand you've a keen eye for the detail. Paul
sweaty1
Vinnie The wings on the second model were decals supplied in the kit by Eduard. I don't think i could manage that effect. Sweaty
uncletommy
They're both magnificent! I'd love to see your technique for the wood grain effect on the second one.
