Vingtor
I built this model about 10 years ago, but never got as far as painting. A friend made a remark about this a couple of weeks ago. So I decided to finish it. Two weeks later I could finally put it back in the cabinet, nice and yellow. Broplan short run kit. The last photo say a bit about the model's size. "Solo" is a Norwegian orange flavor soft drink - and many pilots had their first solo flight in this type. Nils

Josh G
Cool, it's like one of those Saab MFI-9 'minicoins' they used in the Nigerian Civil War
Spitfire31
Extremely neat little SAAB MFI-15/17 Safari! The 'Biafra babies' were the original Malmö Flygindustri MFI-9B. The Safari is the up-engined and enlarged 'big brother', taken over by SAAB. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_Safari Nice modelling, Nils! Kind regards, Joachim
IrritableRabbit
That's a super looking little model you've done there. Ten years in the making! 😎 And thanks for reminding me I should maybe finally build something that doesn't carry a stack of 'splodey' ordnance. 😁
Pauly Boy
Very tidy little build! Excellent job! Always wanted to do one in Biafran markings. I wish one would come out in 1/48.
Vingtor
I think there is (was) a 1/72 scale kit of the MFI-9. Don't remember who did it, though. Nils
