Moa,

Firstly Congratulations  to your son being a new Father

and you being a new Grandpa.

And your  Build is coming alone So Impressively.

Looking great. One of  MY favorites.

Keep it coming.

:goodjob:

Thanks! The first part was accomplished effortlessly.

The model building is something altogether different...

The wing modification approach for the second model works really well, much better than the block sanding. It requires careful measuring, cutting and aligning, but ends up being much faster and less brutish regarding physical exertion (i.e. sanding):

That’s a very elegant solution. Well done, sir!

The strut placement is modified, and the locations of two pipes (that run to the engine) are drilled on the center panel:

The ribbing and scalloping is reproduced. Only the lower wings in both kits have a sort of porous surface, that doesn't disappear with washing, priming or sanding:

Another priming session is held:

Who said modeling is not fun?

Priming and filling and sanding and re-priming... soooo entertaining!

Lovely internal greeblies Moa.

I'm trying to decipher the manufacturer of the turnbuckles and control horns I see in the top left corner, they look like a useful addition to the arsenal.
Perhaps you can spare my eyesight and elucidate us?

Thank you!
They appear to have several worthwhile items, so my gratitude for pointing out a till now overlooked manufacturer of detaily bits :)

Well, on the other hand, we got the Abominable Orange Man of urban legend. Consider yourself lucky.

WOW! Yes, I forgot about the orange buffoon (baboon?) (grand poohbah?)

Sorry you folks have to deal with that issue for another month or two?

I'll take snow over that any day!

Sorry Claudio, but I have missed this great work while being distracted by a current Group build. I’m back and see you’ve been working your usuals magic! Keep it up, mate.

All my best.

Martin
