I tried to use oil colours for some variation in the paint work but I feel I don't work in this small scale. I don't like the stand in the kit. I have to do something about it. Time to go back to my Trafalgar and the boring job of masking. Bill.B Posted February 6, 2019 Share Posted February 6, 2019 I think you’ve done ok with the oils all things considered, and having made a couple of 1/350 U-Boats I know that it’s very difficult to weather sympathetically at such a small scale, unless of course you build a Typhhon class sub!
